- EVENT: Earth Day Parade & Celebration at the Park (Sat. April 17, 2004) -- Heather Muth, Celeste Fish, Dickie Heckler
Note: Dianna Sjogren, WRR Specialist, will solicit board members to volunteer for specific tasks (e.g. drive hybrid vehicles, carry banner in parade, staff booth, distribute posters/flyers, etc).
- EVENT: Energy Conservation Fair & Sustainable Homes Tour --(Sun., October 17th, 2004) Steve Hughes, Lew Phillips, Dickie Heckler.
Note: Michelle Crank, WRR Specialist, will solicit board members to volunteer for specific tasks (e.g. develop list of sites for Sustainable Homes Tour, development of sponsorships, solicit regional vendors, etc).
- Parks and Recreation has updated their special use permit for city park facilities to
include a recycling container option.

4) Throughout
the course of the year, RRCAB should consider if expanding their role beyond
“recycling” and more into the “resource conservation” component of their name
would be of benefit to the community.
5) WWR
report given by Mollie—Handouts on current WWR programs and goals were
submitted to the board for review.
